The National Baseball Congress is hosting the 82nd World Series at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium beginning July 29th. However, this particular World Series will be different than previous others. We are excited to announce the roster of former Major League Baseball players, All-Stars and potential Hall of Famers that are bringing their talents to Wichita.

The roster will be released via email Sunday, July 17th at 5:45pm (CST). The news release will also provide a toll-free conference call number for media to call at 6:00pm (CST). During the phone press conference, team representatives Adam LaRoche and Nate Robertson, along with NBC World Series Tournament Director Kevin Jenks will be available for comments. Please reply to this email to receive the news release that will be sent to participating media outlets on Sunday afternoon. Media is encouraged to participate for future opportunities and access to more players and announcements as they occur.

Local media can attend the live teleconference at the offices of Visit Wichita. 515 S. Main, Suite 115, Wichita, KS 67202.
