Unfortunately, you could have written the front-page headline for Saturday, May 2, prior to Gov. Kelly's speech: GOP leaders unhappy with pace of reopening.

Whatever the governor would have announced, GOP "leaders" would have been dissatisfied. This is not state leadership; it is partisan obstinacy. It is the exact opposite of the cooperation needed during this time.

When will GOP "leadership" start giving support rather than criticism?
