Insulting to Americans
To the Editor,
Three mass murderers of millions and millions of their fellow countrymen are undeserving of the right to be called human.
Their grouping with the President of the United States of America is despicable and insulting to America and her people.
Former resident wants city to clean private property
To the Editor,
I grew up in Augusta. I lived my high school years (class of "73") in the mobile home court on Money Ave. The week end of Aug. 25, 2018 my family and I were in Augusta, we went sight seeing to visit our old stomping grounds.
We drove through the mobile home court and I was shocked to see the poor condition it is now in. To say the least, it is HORRIBLE. Who on earth in the United States Of America should be subjected to such poor living conditions? Why has the City Administrator, City Council or the Health Department allowed this condition to exist? There are options to clean it up. Church's have Serve Days, you have a Butler County Chapter of Christian Motorcyclist Association (CMA) that do work days (you can give a donation to their Run For The Son yearly fund raiser).
This mobile home court needs cleaned up; I am sad to see my former neighborhood in such a state of disrepair. I pray someone will clean this up for the health and welfare who live in and around this awful mess. Most of all i pray it gets cleaned up because it's the Right thing to do. We are praying for all of Augusta's citizens and city leaders as they resolve this critical issue.
