John Edgar Dauber, age 91, Wichita, Kansas.

John Edgar Dauber of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the age of 91. John was born in Degraff, Kansas to Frank and Mary Dauber. He graduated from high school and soon married Rozella. Rozella and John had three children together. After Rozella’s passing, John remarried to Nelsie Timm and they spent many years together before her passing. John spent his time with the Elks, Moose, and Masonic Lodges, and enjoyed spending family time out at El Dorado Lake. When the children were younger he would take them out to the lake and there are many wonderful memories that were made there. He retired from Kansas Gas and Electric after 35 years of service at the age of 55. He then began his own business, Dauber and Sons Trucking. He was a very loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be missed terribly by those who knew and loved him.

John is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Peggy Hodges; son, John Dauber; and wives, Rozella Dauber and Nelsie Timm Dauber.

John is survived by his children, Richard Dauber and Linda McCormack; grandchildren, Kari DiDonato, Amy McCormack, and James Dauber; and great grandchildren, Rylee DiDonato, Nicholas DiDonato, Jasmine Dauber, Kiran Dauber, River Dauber, and Liberty Rose Dauber.

Memorial donations in John’s name can be made to the Friends of the El Dorado Lake.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home in El Dorado, Kansas.
