Marcella Jean Arbuckle

Marcella Jean (Hinnenkamp) Arbuckle, of Benton, Kansas, passed away on June 20, 2021 at the age of 69. Marcella was born on January 9, 1952 in Wichita, Kansas to Carol and Laura (Carpenter) Hinnenkamp. After high school, Marcella attended Vernon's Beauty School and went on to become a hairdresser. She married her first love, Donald "Rex" McGinnis, and they had one daughter, Mindi. Later on in life she married her second love, Cyril "Bud" Lee Arbuckle on December 10, 1990. They were married until his passing in 2015. She had a love for wildlife. She enjoyed being outdoors watching birds, going fishing and hunting, and she loved to garden. Aside from growing an absolutely beautiful garden, she also grew tomatoes and canned her own vegetables for many years. She was also quite the perfectionist. Making sure everything was perfect and right was important to her and just came naturally to her. Marcella also had a love for Boston Terriers. She was a fur-mom to several throughout her life, and each one was always named Ajax.

Marcella is survived by her daughter, Mindi (Billy) Bardin of Towanda, Kansas; step-daughter, Tamila J. Sanders of Wichita, Kansas; grandchildren, Kooper James of Allentown, Pennsylvania and Londyn Elizabeth of Towanda, Kansas; step-grandchildren, Ashley, Jessie, and Matt Vestring; siblings, Mike (Micki) Hinnenkamp, Mark (Sherri) Hinnenkamp, and Marcia Kennedy; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, Carol and Laura (Carpenter) Hinnenkamp; and husband of 24 years, Cyril "Bud" Arbuckle.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 10:00am at The Benton Cemetery. Friends and family are welcome to gather for a meal after the service at Palmyra Baptist Church.
