Carmel’s life began on May 29, 1943 the son of W.W. and Emmie (Wiggins) Brown; in Dugginsville, MO.
Carmel was united in marriage to Jimmie Jones on June 17, 1961 in Wichita.
He worked for Cessna as a sheet metal engineer and as a consultant. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Carmel was a professional house flipper and enjoyed fixing up homes and selling them. He also enjoyed classic cars.
Carmel’s greatest joy was his family which includes his children Susan (Jimmy) Beckley of Augusta and Brian (Barbara) Brown of El Dorado; grandchildren James (Coleen) Beckley IV, Brandon (Colleen) Beckley, Neil Beaman Sr, Brandie Beaman, Michael Beaman, Lukas Brown, Tasha Cooper, Shelby Brown, Sage Brown, Neil Brown; and 17 great grandchildren.
Carmel, 76, Leon, passed away unexpectedly on August 22, 2019 in Wichita. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jimmie; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Leon Cemetery.
