Garry Cleo Cox, 74, El Dorado, was born on June 6, 1945 in Arkansas City, Kansas, the son of Cleo and Ruby (Enderud) Cox.

He was a 1963 graduate from Leon High School.

He married Cathy Ingalls-Humig on February 12, 1987 at the Haverhill Christian Church in El Dorado.

Garry worked as a manufacturing engineer for Boeing for many years.

His greatest joy in life was his family, which includes his wife, Cathy Cox of El Dorado; children, Greg (Agustina) Cox of Leon, Deborah Cox of Leon, Tristan (Katy) Humig of El Dorado, Tanis (Eric) Hendrickson of Overland Park; grandchildren, Whitney (Josiah) Trinkle, Jordan (Sean Neal) Cox, Pilar Cox, Joaquin Cox, Maggie Humig and Brighton Humig; great grandchild, Evelyn Neal; brother, Lloyd Norman (Betty) Cox.

Garry passed away on August 6, 2019 in Wichita, Kansas.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A service in Garry’s memory will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Kirby-Morris Funeral Home led by Pastor Stan Seymour. Burial of his remains will be placed at Walnut Valley Memorial Park.
