Doris A. Butler, 86, passed away on April 17, 2019, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.
A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday led by Pastor Douglas Hodgens, at Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
Doris was born on Aug. 13, 1932 in Kincaid, Kan., the daughter of Daniel and Edith (Lebow) Simpson. Doris is a 1950 graduate of Kincaid High School. She was united in marriage to Wayne E. Butler on Dec. 5, 1952 in El Dorado. Doris worked at KT Oil and LED Enterprises as a bookkeeper and Jefferson School cafeteria. She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting and casino trips.
Doris’s greatest joy was her family which includes: her sons, Lynn (Debi) Butler of El Dorado, Vic (Linda) Butler of El Dorado; daughter in law, Gina Butler; grandchildren, Ty, Amber, Mike, Doug, Bart, Joni, Jason, Cory and Brian; 13 great grandchildren; brothers in law, Richard Butler and Dean Holm and sisters in law, Delores Butler, Dixie Holm, Wanda Frakes, Faith Butler and Kathy Butler.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne Butler; son, Tony Butler; grandchildren, Nikki Saia and Scotty Butler; sister, Lois Blackburn; and brother, Lewis McAtee.
