Mary Madeline Tredway, 96, passed away on Feb.8,2019

Mary Madeline Tredway, 96, of Oxford, passed away Friday, Feb. 8, 2019.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on  Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019 at the Oxford Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Arkansas City. Visitation will be on Friday, Feb. 15,  with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Madeline was born June 17, 1922, the daughter of Mort and Bertha (Sweet) Dwyer in Cambridge, Kan. Madeline was united in marriage to Roy Tredway on May 3, 1941. She was a cook for the Winfield hospital, as well as a cook for the Oxford School District. Madeline enjoyed sewing, crafts, spending time with friends and especially loved her family.
Survivors include: her children, David (Wanda) Tredway of Fairhope, Ala., Bill (Vickie) Tredway of Oxford, and Sheila (Mike) Harden of El Dorado; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; great-granddaughters, Kathrine “Kat” Tredway and Emily Tredway; siblings, Flossie, Avis, her twin sister Maxine, Vernon and Billy Joe.
