Susanah Deen (Davis) Calvin, 91, passed away on Jan. 26, 2018, surrounded by her family.
Private burial will at a later date in El Dorado.
Susanah was born on Dec. 30, 1926, in Butler County Kansas, to the late Alwilda Redman (Phillips) and Fred Earl Davis. Some of her childhood was spent in Barber County, where her dad and uncle ranched. The family moved back to the Latham area when Susanah was about 10 years old. Susanah was a graduate of El Dorado High School. She was united in marriage to Dean Calvin on Oct. 30, 1946. They raised three children in the El Dorado area. Susanah was an excellent seamtress and worked for Singer Sewing Center in El Dorado for several years. Susanah and Dean lived near Tenkiller Lake in the Talequah, OK, area for over 20 years and enjoyed their time there and made many friends. Dean preceded her in death in 2010.
Susanah is survived by: sister, Loriene (James) Brewer of Latham; daughters, Margaret "Gigi" (Larry) Willhite of Leon, and Janice (Tom) Giliberti of Kansas City, Mo; grandchildren, Lisa (Matt) Mefford of Kansas City, Mo., Miles (Mikki) Willhite of Rosalia, Lindsey (Tom) Roberts of Kansas City, Mo., and Alison (Tony) Blake of Leon.; great-grandchildren, Alexander and Carter Roberts, Cassidy Willhite, and Savanah and Flint Blake.
She was preceded in death by husband, Dean Calvin; son, Stanley; and siblings, Doyle Davis, Phil Davis, Robert Davis, and Jack Davis.
