Cindy L. Alfaro, 61, passed away on Jan. 25, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family.
Visitation with family present will be from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, at Kirby Morris Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, at St. John’s Catholic Church with a 10:30a.m. rosary prayer service led by Father Steven Gronert. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Cindy was born on Dec. 15, 1956 in El Dorado, the daughter of Melvin and Betty (Shoopman) Althouse. She was a graduate of El Dorado High School and the Wichita School of Nursing. Cindy was united in marriage to Lawrence “Larry” Alfaro in 1974 in El Dorado. Cindy worked as a LPN in El Dorado, Wichita, and Augusta. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary. Cindy’s greatest joy was her family.
Survivors include: her husband Larry of El Dorado; sons, Scott Alfaro of Wichita, Brian Alfaro of Derby, Michael Alfaro of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Matthew (Kassie) Alfaro of Round Rock, Texas; grandchildren, Hailey Alfaro, Caleb Alfaro, Austin Alfaro, Martyna Alfaro, Easton Alfaro, Taelor Alfaro, Andrew Alfaro, Alex Alfaro and Sydney Alfaro; siblings, Linda Althouse of El Dorado, Cathy Hodgens of El Dorado, and Terry (Linda) Althouse of El Dorado.
