Dean W. Hurley, 85, passed away on Jan. 22, 2018

Dean  Wesley  Hurley, 85, of Augusta, passed away Monday, Jan. 22, 2018.
Visitation 6 - 8 p.m.  Wednesday,Jan. 24, 2018 at Headley Funeral Chapel; service at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 1958 N. Webb Rd, Wichita. Private burial at Elmwood Cemetery Augusta.
Dean  was born in Wichita, on Jan. 17, 1933, to the late Mabel (Saunders) and James Hurley. He retired as the  president of Hurley Sheet Metal Inc. Dean enjoyed playing golf, and watching sports on TV including golf, and WSU, K-State, and Kansas Basketball.  He enjoyed restoring antique cars, and was a member of the Wichita Regional Early Ford V8 club, and the Wichita Classic Thunderbirds. On May 12, 1951 he married Adrienne (Locke) in Wichita, who survives him.
He is also survived by: son, Terry  Hurley  and wife Jenise of Andover; daughters, Leslie  Schaeffer and husband Gene of Augusta,  Robin  Hoefgen and husband Bob of Augusta, Beth  Oliphant and husband Dave of Andover, Cinda Bradford and husband Dave of Delaware; brother, Ron Hurley of Eureka; 15 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.  
He was preceded in death by a sister, and 4 brothers.
