Grant B. Holderman, 65, of Augusta, and Clewiston, Florida, passed away Wednesday (Jan. 22, 2020) in Wichita.
Grant was born in Wichita on Feb. 27, 1954, to the late Mildred (Robinson) and Marlin Holderman. He worked as a welder and tool coordinator at Beech for 43 years. Grant was an angler associated with FLW, a volunteer with Augusta Boy Scout Troop 211, a member of the Machinist Union #733, a member of the Scottish Rite, and a member of the Mystic Tie Lodge #74 in Augusta where he served as the master. In November of 1972 he married Janet (Weishaar) Holderman who survives him.
He is also survived by: sons, Brian Holderman and wife Jill of Parsons, and Randy Holderman and wife Amy of Augusta; grandchildren, Treven Holderman, Seanie Goan, Tashia Lair, and Laykin Veith; great-grandchildren, Chance, Caidyn Crastyn, and Sage. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Holderman.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday (Jan. 24, 2020) and service 2 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 25, 2020) both at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Augusta.
