Child care licensing is required to protect the health, safety, and welfare of children receiving care away from their parents and their home. The Kansas Department of Health and Environment contracts with the Butler County Health Department to provide local regulatory services for: Child Care Centers; Group Day Care Homes; Head Start Centers; Licensed Day Care Homes; Preschools; and School-Age Programs

The classes begin at 9:00 AM and are being held at the Butler County Health Department at 206 N. Griffith in El Dorado.
