Butler County Department on Aging is once again partnering with Central Plains Area Agency on Aging and KDHE to provide Butler County Seniors Farmers Market Voucher. These vouchers can be used at participating vendors to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables.

To be eligible for the program, seniors must be 60 years of age or older and have an income at or below 185 percent of the poverty guidelines (Household income $1,926/month for a one person household, $2607/month for two person household). 

Six $5 coupons equaling $30 will be issued per eligible individual in the household. This means as long as the household income meets the guidelines, each person over 60 in the household can have a booklet of checks.

Vouchers will be distributed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 2101 Dearborn, Suite 302 in Augusta.  Vouchers will also be  at the Andover Senior Center from 10 to 11:30 a.m June 4th and rhw El Dorado Senior Center from 10 to 11:30 a.m. June 5.  All are given on a first come first served basis .
