Is there a connection between Saturday's found body and Kevin Bidwell?

A decomposed body found Saturday on the shoreline at El Dorado State Park may be that of  Kevin Bidwell, who went missing at the Boulder Bluff area, campground two in early November last year.
“The body that was found was badly decomposed and we reached out to a member of the Bidwell family and we’ve been provided DNA,” Butler County Sheriff Kelly Herzet advised.
Bidwell, who family members say was staying at the lake, went missing on Nov. 3 last year.
Extensive searches were made around the area, but there have been no leads in the disappearance.
Sheriff Herzet explained that the missing man’s case is still an open case and investigation continues.
“The case is open, we’re working every day to find out what happened.  It will take a few weeks to get the results back on the DNA tests.”
Sheriff Herzet added that whenever an unidentified body is found, it’s not uncommon to be contacted from numerous law enforcement agencies that are also dealing with open missing person cases.
The testing is being performed by the Sedgwick County Regional Forensic Science Laboratory in Wichita.
