Inaugural winner in January is Shawnda Wishart

Circle schools and Don Hattan Ford recently formed a unique partnership that will recognize outstanding employees in USD 375 on a monthly basis.
Don Hattan Ford will present a selected Circle employee with the use of a new Ford Explorer and a $50 gas card to acknowledge their service to the district and students.
The inaugural winner in January was Circle Middle School Communications/ELA teacher Shawnda Wishart.  Wishart has taught in the Circle district since 1999, and has received numerous awards for her continued excellence in the classroom as well as mentorship and leadership with faculty.
“Don Hattan is dedicated to the communities we are a part of, and we are proud to partner with Circle Public Schools for their Employee of the Month promotion,” said Don Hattan Ford owner Ben Thomas.  “As soon as the district pitched us the idea, we knew it was something we wanted to be a part of. We believe the future success of our community starts with the education of our children and our school systems.”
Circle Supt. of Schools Don Potter has led the effort to build school pride and a sense of community with his staff.  He views this program as positive reinforcement to that philosophy.  “We are beyond excited to offer this program to our staff,” Potter said.  “Not only do our people deserve it, but partnering with great people like Erika Maley and Ben Thomas at Don Hattan Ford has been a very positive experience.  It’s wonderful to team up with people who appreciate our teachers and staff for their dedication to our students.”
