Butler's Hospitality and Culinary Arts brighten the holiday for firefighters

Butler Community College’s Hospitality and Culinary Arts programs brought some cheer to working firefighters in Butler County and Wichita.
All the food was prepared in Butler’s culinary kitchen at the Boston Recreation Center in South Wichita. From there, Butler staff,  wearing chef jackets,  delivered the food to 24 fire stations in Butler County and Wichita.
The food was delivered cold so that the firefighters could simply warm it up whenever they had time to enjoy the meal.
Chef John Michael enjoys helping out the community. He and his faculty and students donate hundreds of hours to the community each year.
