Four seminars this month
The Butler County Farm Bureau will host “Stepping Up,” the first of four seminars from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, at the Civic Center in El Dorado, 201 E. Central. The topic covered will be “Got Land? Now What? - Acquiring and Improving Land Understanding the Government Alphabet - NRCS & FSA Kansas Department of Agriculture Resources.”
The seminar is open to both women and men, landowners and non-landowners, Kansas Farm Bureau Members and non-members. It is open to all who wish to become more knowledgeable about land ownership and the many associated details.
Space is limited. Each evening seminar is $10 for Kansas Farm Bureau members and $15 for non-members.
The second seminar “Taking Action” will be on March 19, at Applejack Pumpkin Patch Barn, 10007 SW Indianola Road, Augusta.
The third seminar “Going Forward” will be held on March 22, at the El Dorado Civic Center.
The fourth seminar “Planning Ahead” will be held at the Applejack Pumpkin Patch Party Barn.
