Chamber's annual event coming up
Each year the Augusta Chamber of Commerce celebrates its membership by awarding businesses and individuals who have made a difference in the community.
Local businesses and business leaders will be recognized and a catered meal will be enjoyed at the Annual Augusta Chamber of Commerce Dinner, at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, at The Point Events Center, 2101 Dearborn Street.
This year’s program will be feature “Midnight at the Masquerade” Mystery Dinner and Performance. The State of the City address will be delivered by Augusta Mayor Matt C. Childers. He is expected to share the city’s 2017 accomplishments and share some future plans, as well.
The Excellence in Business Business Awards include: The Health & Wellness Award, Retail Business Award, Dining Establishment Award, Service Business Award, Finance & Insurance Award, Manufacturing Technology & Innovation Award, and the Community Leader Award.
