Community National Bank & Trust (CNB&T) is pleased to announce the promotion of Jeff Meyer to senior vice president. Meyer’s primary focus will be the commercial needs of potential and existing customers in the El Dorado and Butler County area.
With over 33 years of banking experience, Meyer most recently served as vice president with Community National Bank, working with residential and consumer lending. Prior to CNB&T, Meyer was a vice president with Home Bank and Trust in East Wichita.
Meyer is a past president of the El Dorado Rotary Club and currently sits on the board. He also has served on the El Dorado Housing Authority board and the El Dorado Swim Club board.
Meyer’s wife, Gina, teaches in the El Dorado school district. She is in her 18th year of teaching.
The Meyers have two grown children. Their son, Paden, is employed with J. B. Hunt and lives in Bethel Heights, Ark. Their daughter, Kaytlan Berry, owns and operates BrewCo Coffeehouse and Dilly Deli in downtown El Dorado. They have one grandson, Graydon Berry.
Pending regulatory approval, Community National Bank's recent acquisition of Heritage State Bank in Nevada, Mo. will bring CNB&T to 34 banking centers throughout Southeast Kansas, Southwest Missouri and Northern Oklahoma.
Meyer can be reached at 316-320-2265, and CNB&T invites the community to congratulate him in his new role.
