The Benton Lions Club will host Benton Day on Saturday, April 28, with a day filled with activities for the entire family.  
The day kicks off with breakfast hosted by the Lions Club from 7 to 11 a.m. at the Community Building.  All you can eat.  Adults, $7, and kids 12 and under, $4.
The Circle Booster Club 5K Run/Walk will be at 7:30 a.m.
The Benton Day Fun Run will begin at 9 a.m.  Medals will be awarded and participants ribbons.
Enjoy the VI Band and special guests from noon to 2 p.m. at the grandstand.
The Grand Parade will be held at 2 p.m. Line-up will be at the Circle Middle School. Bring your lawn chairs and the parade.  Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place.  Ed Heim will be the Parade Marshal.
An Ice Cream Social will follow the parade and held at the Community Building, hosted by the Circle Booster Club and CHS National Honor Society.
Many great prizes drawings each hour beginning at 9 a.m. and the Grand Prize drawn after the parade.
The Benton PTO will be serving burgers, hot dogs and more at the Benton Elementary School.
The Lions Mobile Screening Unit will be open from 7:30 a.m. to noon in front of the Benton City Building.  Free screening for vision and hearing.  Blood pressure and blood sugar screening in the City Building.  Don’t forget to donate your old eye glasses.
The Benton Day Marketplace with vendor booths will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Benton Church.
A pet show will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the Fire Department.
Don’t miss garage sales all around town.  Grab a map at Vintage Bank.  A Kiddie Tractor Pull will be sponsored by The Benton Church; Benton Busy Bee’s 4-H Club will host inflatables, a bake sale, face painting, and an obstacle course at the Benton Grade School.
Don’t miss the Matt Engels Band from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Stearman Field Bar & Grill.
Benton Day shirts and hats are available in advance at the Vintage Bank Kansas Benton Branch and at the Community Building on Saturday.
