EL DORADO – Heroes abounded for Butler throughout Saturday’s doubleheader against Garden City. But the Grizzlies needed pretty much all of those feats to dispatch a pesky Broncbusters squad and complete a four-game sweep at McDonald Stadium.

Preston Johnson, Chase Lesh and Hunter Hamm combined to throw a 1-hit shut out in the second game of the double header against Mulvane on Monday night, giving El Dorado their first win of the season. The win, where Mulvane didn’t register a hit until the fifth inning, was an impressive one after they had battled in a tough loss in Game 1.
