The Butler Grizzlies baseball team took Game 1 against the seventh-ranked team in the nation but they dropped the three last games of the series. Butler battled tough against a team who came into the series with only four losses on the season.

ROSE HILL, Kansas — After falling to a walk off in the first game, despite leading for most of the contest, Augusta made sure there wasn’t an option in the second game. Rose Hill came from behind to win the first game 5-4 but Augusta scored eight of their nine runs in the sixth and seventh inning in the second game as Augusta split with Rose Hill on Tuesday night.
ANDOVER – Andover Central returned quite a few experienced players this season, but Tuesday the Jaguars reaped some immediate benefits from a couple of new faces. In the first game, senior shortstop Drew Veatch, a transfer from El Dorado, went 4 for 4 and drove in two runs as Central thwarted an Arkansas City comeback try and escaped with a 7-6 victory.
