TOWANDA, Kansas—Circle junior Kya Thornton nailed a corner 3-pointer with just over three minutes to go in the game as Circle ended a scoring drought and any thoughts of a comeback for Augusta on Friday night.

ANDOVER – Hannah Alexander’s first taste of the Andover-Andover Central rivalry Tuesday night didn’t follow the script she had planned, but she won’t complain about the way it finished. On Tuesday night, Circle held Augusta to only 13 points in the second half as they ran away with a 56-42 win over the Orioles.
