Forest Park was filled with music last Thursday, as the El Dorado Municipal Band kicked off their summer season with a gala concert. 2022 marks the 100th consecutive performance season by the band.
Private gardens will be on display for the first time during El Dorado Main Street’s Garden Tour from 1 to 7 p.m. June 12.

The 4-H mini fair is June 18. Each 4-H club in the county has been asked to make a gift basket for a silent auction. The 4-H members decided that the club basket will have a Movie Theater them and Lucy and Mackenzie will shop for the gift goodies. Noah McLaughlin donated $30 for the shoppers to spend for the basket. Lastly, in the leader’s report members answered enthusiastically, “how many more days until school is out?”, followed by handing out candy.
