Newspaper Exhibit on Display

BCTG Butler County Historical Society Home of the Kansas Oil Museum has a temporary exhibit on the evolution and history of our local newspaper. “This current, temporary display showcases the shaping of a small town newspaper,” said Suzanne Walenta, curator of the museum.

Constitution Week

BCTG Daughters of American Revolution (DAR), Susannah French Putney Chapter of El Dorado, received a Proclamation from the El Dorado City Commission to recognize Constitution Week, which will be Sept. 17-23.
