TOPEKA — Lawmakers say remnants of a proposed parents’ bill of rights are impacting school districts, referencing several schools’ transgender student policies and recent attempts to remove books from curriculum.
Members of the Freya Study Club gathered for a luncheon at Areletta’s Kitchen in Burns for the first meeting of the 20222023 year. Members also had the opportunity to purchase delicious baked and canned goods made by Areletta Koehn and her daughter, Gwinda Koehn.
