With a motto of 'Changing numbers to names', Heartstrings Animal Advocates has saved over 736 lives in just the last year. Founded in 2016, 46 Heartstring volunteers act as the foster home between shelter and adoption time. 'We network with a lot of other rescue partners to do transports and to help however we can to get other animals safe.' said Kara Knight, Founder of Heartstrings Animal Advocates.
