The Holiday Bowl in Augusta is shaping up to be the greatest place to bowl on Earth, preparing to open this summer. Many have noticed some activity at the old Holiday Bowl bowling alley in Augusta.

Butler County residents anticipate the first Butler County Lawn and Garden Show which is set for Saturday, April 22 from 9 AM to 5 PM and Sunday, April 23 from noon to 5 PM. The event takes place at the Butler County Community/4-H Building, 206 N. Griffith, El Dorado, Kansas. Attendees will gain valuable knowledge about vegetable gardening, flowers, and trees. It features seminars by experts, horticultural businesses, free seeds, and much more. Admission is free.
TWO Butler County 4-H Clubs came together to have an ‘Exchange Meeting’! Great learnings for the 4-H members to observe another 4-H club’s meeting. The North Butler 4-H club was invited to the Hickory Helpers 4-H club meeting at Haverhill Christian Church, Augusta, on April 10, 2023. The first meeting was Hickory Helpers and North Butler followed. Harley McLaughlin called the North Butler meeting to order and Ella Amend and Ella Zuercher led the 4-H Pledge and Flag Salute.
