El Dorado commission awards contract for Central construction projects
Despite the predicted weather on Monday evening, the City of El Dorado pushed forward with their City Commission meeting where they awarded the contract for the Central Avenue Improvement Projects.The Central Avenue projects entail improving the storm sewer system to alleviate flooding around the Central/Main area.
K-196 will be resurfaced in Butler County
Resurfacing will begin soon on K-196 in Butler County.The Kansas Department of Transportation project – involving a scrub seal and chip seal – will be on K-196 from the Butler/Harvey county line to the K-254 junction.
