New pain management physician

EL DORADO – After eight years of training, teaching medical students and serving patients at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, Dr. Rebecca Sanders launched her clinical practice in interventional pain management at the Pain Center at Kansas Spine & Specialty Hospital in Wichita. In addition to her office at Kansas Spine, Dr. Sanders began seeing patients at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in April.
Dr. Sanders will be leading SBA’s Pain Clinic. She will see patients at SBA on Thursdays, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Her office is located in SBA Medical Clinic East, Suite 103.
Dr. Sanders looks forward to re-engaging with patients to provide interventional pain solutions.

Dr. Sanders practiced interventional pain medicine at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, until September 2018 when she moved with her family to Wichita. She also completed her fellowship in Interventional Pain Management and her Anesthesia residency at the Mayo Clinic.
While at Mayo, Dr. Sanders co-edited the Mayo Clinic Family Health Book, 5th Edition. She has also authored and co-authored a number of publications on topics ranging from spinal cord stimulation to thoracic facet injections and interlaminar epidural injection.
