New bank presidents named in Augusta and El Dorado

The Board of Directors of Citizens Bank of Kansas recently named three new officers to serve as Community Bank Presidents.
Kelly Wood will serve as Community Bank President in Kingman.  Wood has been with CBK since 2015 (12/16/15) and his father and grandfather both worked for CBK predecessor First National Bank of Kansas.  Wood lives in Kingman with his wife, Andrea, and two children Laney and Dawson.  He currently serves as president of the Kingman Rotary and is a Board member with the Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce.
The new Community Bank President in El Dorado is Bert Anderson, where he held a similar role with Verus Bank prior to the recent merger with CBK.  Anderson has been in banking for 29 years, and for 14 years with Verus Bank.   Bert and his wife Jan live in El Dorado; they have three grown children and six grandchildren.
Finally, David Chappell has been chosen to serve as Community Bank President in Augusta.  He replaces Randy Craven who recently retired from the position.  Chappell has been in banking for 17 years and worked with Verus for 8 years.  In addition to banking, Chappell also has a small farming operating outside of Augusta.  Chappell and his wife Lynn live in Augusta with their children Brody and Bryson.
