The Douglass girls basketball team dominated Bluestem for the most part of Thursday night's contest on way to clinching their home tournament. The Bulldogs jumped out to a 24-11 lead after the first quarter and never looked back in a 56-30 victory.

Cashlyn Munroe led the charge for the Bulldogs. She scored the game's first six points and finished with a game-high 21 points. She hit several tough shots inside, including a baseline floater, but she also hit a couple jumpers, including a 3-pointer.

The Bulldogs forced 22 turnovers through three quarters as their defense controlled the game all night.

Rileigh Boline led the Lions with eight points on the night.

Douglass improves to 4-0 on the season.
