Augusta's girls golf team competed well at the Eureka girls golf meet Wednesday.

The Orioles finished in fourth place with a team score of 215, which fell in the middle of a close pack. Caney Valley easily won the team title with a score of 184, but Eureka was second with a 213 and Uniontown was merely one stroke better than Augusta with a 214 score to take third. Anderson County was just one stroke behind Augusta with 216 for fifth place.

Ashley Roby led the Orioles with a score of 49 for ninth place. Sarah Braddy took 14th with a score of 54. Jackie Brandenburg took 18th with a score of 55. Baylee Johnston cracked the top 20 with a score of 57 to take 20th.

Becca Spyres shot a 64, and Lyndsey Stuart shot a 65 for the Orioles.

Augusta competes at the Eisenhower Invitational Thursday, Sept. 19, then hosts its home meet Monday, Sept. 23.
