In federal documents filed by the United States District Court, District of Kansas on Oct. 31, a connection in the Joel Womochil case has been made with a woman in Indiana. The woman, Denise Sandmann Yoder, was arrested under two charges: One count of Conspiracy to Commit Sexual Exploitation of a Child – Production of Child Pornography and one count of Sexual Exploitation of a Child – Production of Child Pornography.

According to the federal court documents filed, there were 12 files found on a cloud-based storage backup service. Of those files, 11 of them contained child sex abuse material, all associated with Womochil’s phone number. Upon further investigation, agents found the material to contain Sandmann and a child she has regular access to. Files contain videos sent back and fourth with Sandmann and Womochil, communicating with the child and performing child sex abuse in Indiana.

Womochil is the former Burns Police Chief who was arrested for child sex abuse in August. He faces 34 charges from the state and now two federal charges. As the case unfolds, BCTG will continue to update readers.
