Dana Kaye Elinski, 60, CNA, passed away on December 20, 2022 at her home with her loving husband by her side. Dana was born on March 14, 1962 in Ogden, Utah, the third daughter of Allyn Ames Israelson and Betty Faye {Dawson} and Lynn Allen. At a young age the family moved to Brighton, CO where Dana graduated from. Dana was married and had a daughter Jennifer. She later met the love of her life Chris Elinski and they were married on July 15, 1989. Chris and Dana loved spending time with their family and friends while camping in Colorado. Spending her life in healthcare working for hospices and as a CNA, Dana had a very caring soul always wanting to take care of others in need. Creating and decorating crafts and their home for holidays was one of Dana’s favorite ways to spend her time but she also enjoyed shopping and was an excellent cook. Dana had a bright, bubbly personality that would light up a room and her all time favorite joy was spending time with and loving on her grandchildren. Chris often joked with Dana that it was her grandchildren, then her dog Beau, and then him. Dana is survived by her loving husband Chris; daughter Jennifer Brewster; grandchildren Bayli and Brycen; dog Beau; sisters Mary Ann Lucas (Jerry), Sherry Schriver, and Tina Segovia (Ernest); brother Brad Allen (Sondra); father- and mother-in-law Richard and Lorissa Elinski; sisters-in-law Lynn Smith (Gordon) and Rae Hempel (Randy); brother-in-law Rick Elinski (Kelley) and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Ames and Betty; sister Dixie Lee Calloway and step father Lynn Allen. There are no services scheduled at this time.
