In Loving Memory of Randy Arthur Nelson Born: Dec. 30, 1957 at El Dorado, KS Entered into Eternal Life: Oct. 2, 2022 at Wichita, KS from Aggressive High Grade Metastatic Carcinoma with Metastases to the Brain Randy is predeceased by his grandparents Elmer Arthur Nelson, Sr., Carrie Adeline (Thompson) Nelson, William Wesley Carner and Hattie Bonnie (Cody) Carner [Yoakley] Klein, and his parents Elmer Arthur Nelson, Jr. and Barbara Ellen (Carner) Nelson and mother of his children Kelly Renae (Henderson) Minson. Randy is survived by his sisters Avis Nelson, Joy Irving and Holly Parylak, his brother-in-law Rusty Parylak, his ex-brother-in-law Gary Irving; children Cody Arthur Nelson and Kendra Ann (Nelson) Benington; step-children Kenneth Allsbury and Kevin Allsbury; grandchildren Kelly, Caderick, Brody, Bentley and Brooklyn Benington and Knox, Cedar and Chris Allsbury; nephews Chris Parylak and Casey Parylak; nieces Becca (Irving) Jester and Ellen Irving; great nieces Destiny, Sophie, Lainey and Lorianna and great nephew Devin, and much other extended family. Although he had been sick a long time, he loved all his family very much. Randy was a retired, due to disability, expert Sheetrock Finisher who worked most of his career for TCB Drywall. He could make any building beautiful! In his life he enjoyed working, rock music, driving big red Ford trucks, camping, fishing, sunning, football, cooking, being funny and later in life taking day trips, riding around the lake, watching movies and westerns and loving his dogs Bear, then Maybe. His favorite quote was: “Get up, put one foot in front of the other and get it done.” Lastly, he said he was going “One step at a time to his final resting place in Heaven”. Private memorial only.
