The El Dorado Senior Center has partnered with the Kansas Office of Veterans Services to host a day of lunch and informational session on veterans services and benefits on Tuesday.
Starting at 11:45am, the Kansas Office of Veterans Services will be present to assist veterans with a variety of benefits. This includes enrolling into VA healthcare, filing for VA disability claims, obtaining military records or DD214, information about state benefits, information about surviving spouse benefits, information on PACT Act, disability claims for service-connected conditions and much more.
Veterans or spouses should bring their discharge papers, (DD214), marriage certificate, children’s birth certificate if under 18 or attending school full-time, and any questions. This event is free but lunch registration and payment is necessary. Reservations and lunch payment can be arranged by calling 316-321-0142. The El Dorado Senior Center is located at 210 East 2nd.
