As the tournament enters the 32nd year, the Lady Cat has seen some impressive performances. From the dominate years of Ashia Woods of Collegiate in the mid 2000s to the early successes of Jenny Page of El Dorado and JoAnn Hamlin of Winfield, this tournament has not gone without scoring.

We found every box score we could find and we put together a list of every person who scored at least 20 points in a Lady Cat Classic game, dating back to the first one in 1994 when Marty Frazier scored 22 against Parsons. Later that night, Page scored 22 of her own to kick off the tournament.

In transparency, this took about three days to gather all of the information. The unfortunate part as we’ve dove into information as we moved closer into the 2010s, the harder information was to come by and that put us in a bind. While I, Charles Chaney, started at the paper in 2019, we were unable to get any of the individual scorers from the 2018 or 2019. The Wichita Eagle archives were empty and internet searches were not successful. We’ll update them if and when they’re provided from coaching and/or administration.
