Due to the ongoing celebration of Gold Fest that culminates on Saturday night, September 27, several roads and streets will be closed for safety of the festival in downtown El Dorado.

Those driving through the area should be aware of the following closures:

-Main St from 3rd Ave through Locust Ave

-Central Ave beginning at Star St through Vine St

-Main and 1st St (Emprise Bank drive-thru will be accessible from the alley)

-Central and Gordy St

These closures will begin at 6am and continue through the festival. Streets will reopen as tear down of the festival begins around 11pm. All streets will reopen once tear down is complete with no exact end time.
