According to a press release by McConnell Air Force Base, an Airman assigned to the base pleaded guilty to three counts of domestic violence and was sentenced during a general court-martial on April 1.
The man, identified as Tech. Sgt. Jacob Frye who was assigned to the 722nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, pleaded guilty to three violations of Article 128b of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, which describes acts of violence against an intimate partner.
The presiding military judge sentenced Frye to 12 months in confinement, a reprimand, and a reduction in rank to airman basic.
