The Red Brick District Pub Crawl was hosted last Saturday in downtown Augusta, also known as the Red Brick District. They crawl attracted just under 500 crawlers who visited 18 downtown businesses.

Crawlers were able to enter the crawl for just a $5 donation, which gave them a koozie souvenir and access to discounted drink specials and alcoholic beverage samples at each stop. The 18 businesses entered were:

The Holiday Bowl, Butler County Outfitters, Park Bench Brewing, Red Bud Brewery, Sugar Shane’s Cafe, Free State Cycle Works, BonBons, Meadowlark Farms Cidery, Marketplace 67010, Antique Forum, Studio 106, Brick Street Tattoo, Cozy Kiln, Dream Weavers, Boutique 1631, District Tan 316, Bricks Bar & Grill, and Sam’s Fudge.

All donations from entry were given to the Augusta Historical Society and Museum as an annual fundraiser. The total amounted to $2,200, which Shawn Davis, Owner of Free State Cycle Works, delivered to the museum this week. Davis has been the head planner and organizer of the pub crawl since it’s inception. He hopes to continue to grow the crawl and have over 500 crawlers next year who can enjoy experiencing the Red Brick District.
