The City of El Dorado and Experience El Dorado, the city’s convention and tourism board, has scheduled a downtown project unveiling event.

The event doesn’t have a lot of details as what’s to come but has hinted at several surprises, even mentioning 15 surprises on Facebook. The event comes after the Central Avenue Project moves westward, opening Main St and Central Ave intersection to normal operating lanes and capacity.

In social media posts, the City and Experience El Dorado wrote this:

“Big things are happening in downtown El Dorado! Downtown is more than just a place – it’s the heart of our community and an experience. Exciting projects are on the way. Be there as we unveil what’s coming next!”

The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 6 at 4pm. Everyone will meet at Club Vaudeville located in downtown El Dorado at 206 S. Main St for the presentation.
