Grandview, Wheatland take second and third place

The Butler County Spelling Bee was held on Friday, February 7 on Butler Community College Campus inside the Hubbard Welcome Center. The competition lasted two and a half hours long, beginning at 1pm.
An Andover Middle Schooler came out as the crowned champion with two elementary schoolers from Grandview in El Droado and Wheatland in Andover trailing behind in second and third place.
First place:
Samuel Riley from Andover Middle School, correctly spelling anxiety.
Second place:
Blake Dunbar from Grandview Elementary School
Third place:
Vidvath Vennavelli from Wheatland Elementary School
