Couple arrested for domestic violence stabbing in El Dorado

A couple was arrested this morning in El Dorado for domestic violence and aggravated assault charges after a report of a stabbing.

The El Dorado Police Department said that Julia Felt and Trevor Toney were the only two involved in the altercation and were arrested after the incident. A third party called in the dispute around 10:09am in the 1200 block of S High St with the 911 dispatcher advising the responding officers that Toney had just been released from the hospital as they made their way to the scene.

Felt had sustained a minor stab wound to her hand during the dispute that was inflicted by Toney. Officers located Felt at the 1200 block of S Summit St. Both individuals were transported to the El Dorado Police Department for further questioning.

Felt was booked into the Butler County Jail on one charge of aggravated battery and Toney was booked on one charge of domestic violence. Both will appear before a judge in Butler County courts on Wednesday, December 18 at 1:30pm. The investigation is ongoing.
