On Friday, December 6, USD 490 students will be at Walmart throughout the day to celebrate the ending of their district-wide donation event, Stuff the Truck.

The donation drive began on November 11 at USD 490. Grade levels were assigned to collecting certain items for all donations to be delivered to the Salvation Army in December. PreK-1st grade collected jello and canned fruit; 2nd-5th grade collected canned corn and beans; El Dorado Middle Schoolers collected boxed stuffing and gravy packets; and El Dorado High Schoolers collected instant mashed potatoes. Other donations such as macaroni and cheese, cake/brownie mixes, jelly, pancake mix, muffin mix, syrup, and canned vegetables were also accepted.

As students from each school show their skills in various performances, donations will be accepted as residents visit. All performances will take place outside in the parking lot unless otherwise noted below. The performance schedule is as follows:

9-9:20am: El Dorado Middle School Choir

9:30-9:50am: Grandview Excite Singers
