Augusta Christmas parade scheduled for Tuesday

The annual Augusta Christmas Parade is scheduled for Tuesday, December 3. The evening will be full of community festivities, joyful spirit and fun.

The parade starts at 6pm and will travel from the Train Depot located at 618 State St, south on State St all the way down to the roundabout where it will end. Attendees can grab free popcorn at the Augusta Historic Theatre. Following the parade, the Augusta High School Choir will be singing Christmas carols as hot chocolate and cookies are passed out to families at the Augusta Historical Society and Museum C.N. James Cabin.

Additionally, kids and families can get in line to meet Santa inside the cabin and his reindeer just outside. The event and activities are free for all to participate in.
