Age 68 Of El Dorado

Shirley’s life began on August 30, 1954 in Wichita, KS; the daughter of Francis C. and Irene M. (Winter) Roths; growing up in the Greenwich, KS community. Shirley worked hard for her family and graduated from Circle High School. She later graduated with her cosmetology license. Shirley practiced cosmetology for over 33 years and retired from Lois’ Salon of Beauty in Towanda. Shirley was united in marriage to Richard Srna on April 28, 1990 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in El Dorado. She enjoyed going shopping and scouring the stores to find that special gift for her family. If a family member had an item hard to find, they would mention it to Shirley and she would be on the hunt until she found it. Shirley enjoyed keeping tabs on birthdays and anniversaries and always sent cards out. One of her greatest joys was family gatheringsespecially at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. Her family includes her husband, Richard, of El Dorado; children Tamara Ortega, Cynthia Humphrey, and Sheryl Santiel; 7 grandchildren; siblings Dr. Donna Sweet, Clyde “Butch” Roths, Dennis Roths, Glen Roths, Sharon Stephens, Donnie Roths and Benny Roths as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Shirley passed away on October 20, 2022 in Wichita, KS. Friends may gather from 5-7pm at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 25. Rosary services will be held following visitation at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 26 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10am.
