Augusta Diane Elaine MacNicol, 65, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 20
Diane was born on Saturday, September 22, 1956 in El Dorado, Kansas to Edwin Eldon Sr. and Joyce Elaine
Diane graduated from Bluestem High School in 1974. She then attended New Tribes Bible Institute/ Missionary Training and served as a missionary in Panama. Diane worked many different jobs and moved around throughout her life, while working Diane spent her time establishing relationships with people “people energize me”. Diane enjoyed horseback riding, spending time encouraging people, and loved spending time with family, especially her grandbabies and sharing the love of Jesus.
Diane is survived by her mother, Joyce Gray; children, Casey and Sarah MacNicol, Alisha and Colby Simon, and Kaleb MacNicol; grandchildren, Camden DWayne Simon, Averie Grayce Edith Simon, Lillian Edith MacNicol, and Grace Reverie MacNicol; brothers Edwin, Jerry, Darrel, and Kevin Gray; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Diane is preceded in death by her father Edwin Gray and her nephew Justin Dean Gray.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 26th from 6-8 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Augusta. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, August 27th at 10 a.m. also at First Baptist Church in Augusta.
Dress Code for Service: No black, everyone is asked to wear bright colorful clothes.
The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the “Diane MacNicol Memorial” at Community National Bank and Trust.
